Loch
Lomond Full Day
We
travel to Stirling through picturesque old mill towns, tucked
into the edge of the rounded Ochil Hills, and past the soaring
220ft/70m William Wallace (Braveheart) monument. At Stirling
you visit the Castle and Argyll's Lodging (see Stirling Tour).
Looking back, as we head off to the Trossachs there are spectacular
views of the Castle, perched high on its extinct volcanic
outcrop. At Balloch, Loch Lomond, Scotland's largest and possibly
most beautiful inland loch, surrounded by mountains comes
into view.
